What is the difference between a CFA Program and an Masters (post-graduate) program?
Depending of the type of post-graduate studies you are thinking to pursue, you might get a more general education on a variety o topics (management, marketing etc) while with the CFA Program you take the investment knowledge route. A core difference is that CFA is a professional qualification globally recognized and in some cases might be a better choice over a local masters program that is low ranked on a global basis.
One might argue of course that you need a minimum of 2.5-3 to be awarded the CFA designation while you can graduate with a respected masters degree (MSc or MBA) in max 1.5-2 year period. At the end of the day you need to decide if you are passionate with Finance and jobs related to Investments, Corporate Finance or you prefer to take a more general route in your education.
