What is Power Query? Where does it apply?

With Power Query (known as “Get & Transform in Excel”), you can import or connect to external data, and then shape that data, for example, remove a column, change a data type, or merge tables, in ways that meet your needs. Then, you can load your query into Excel to create charts and reports.
Periodically, you can refresh the data to make it up to date. Power Query is available on three Excel applications, Excel for Windows, Excel for Mac and Excel for the Web.

In two words: It simplifies the process of importing data from different source files and sourcing them into an Excel sheet in the most convenient and usable format.

Power Query is a user-friendly business intelligence tool that does not require the user to learn any specific code. It is a free add-in built by Microsoft for Excel users like you and me.

Its biggest advantage is higher efficiency: using Excel with Power Query brings the
user faster results in a very short time

What is Power BI?

Power BI is a powerful app for business intelligence and data analytics. It connects to a wide range of data sources and can help your firm create valuable insights and be ahead of the competition. It is a cloud-based business analytics service that enables anyone to visualize andanalyze data with greater speed, efficiency, and understanding. Any firm can deliver critical information and get important insights from your data by visualizing your work with Microsoft Power BI.

Throughout all sessions, participants are encouraged to participate, ask questions,
and reach out to our expert instructor for help.
This way, each participant shares with our team their projects and our team provide
analytical feedback and stresses the weak points to make sure they are properly

Management Feedback

We provide detailed reporting on the participation and progress of each participant
in order to help your leadership team assess their performance in the training. The feedback is delivered via structured reports where we use a personalized scoring
system and provide useful comments for each participant’s progress throughout
the training.

Access to Course Files

On top of the live online training sessions, we will be offering 6-month access to our
online learning platform where participants will be able to access all files and
resources related to the course.

Requirements:

Participants have online access using their laptop, ideally one they are accustomed
to using, with a Microsoft Windows operating system, with Microsoft Excel 2013 or
2016 and Power Query installed. The Mac version is dramatically different and it is
not recommended to use during the course session
